
Ariégeois
Ariégeois - one of breeds of dogs, belonging to a group of hounds, posokowców and related breeds. Classified to section mid-sized hounds.
Brief History
cynologists French Ariégeois consider descendant large hound gaskońskiego and saintongeois Gascon. The creation of this breed had also involved the local briquety. Originally from northern Part Pyrenees, Ariege region . There has long been used mainly for hunting hares.
UTILIZATION
Lightweight construction of this dog and an excellent sense of smell make it well suited for use in the hunt for small game in a mountainous and arid.
coat and coloring
COLOUR: White with black patches and tan around the cheeks, eyes and feet. Black spots may be present but not very many.
